Dr. Hilal Ahmad Dar is a linguist specializing in language description, documentation, and revitalization. His research focuses on endangered and lesser-known Indian languages/ mother tongues across the Indo-Aryan and Austroasiatic (South Munda) families, with extensive work on Gaddi, Khash, Gorum, and related languages. With over seven years of experience, he has actively contributed to various linguistics-related projects and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters spanning a wide range of topics.
